Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Wedding

Laura and Scotts wedding ceremony was held at the jaw dropping St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in the Pittsburgh, Strip District area. If you have never been to this church I highly suggest taking a tour! The stain glass windows offer such beautiful lighting for a church ceremony. Following their ceremony, they hosted their gorgeous wedding reception at The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott.

Laura was honestly a blessing to work with. She was the most laid back bride I’ve ever met. She decided not to create a schedule, and just roll with the punches that the day brought her. She was so clam and mellow the entire day. She was a breath of fresh air to work with. Her wedding taught me not to sweat the small things.

Hear from the Bride!

1. When did the two of you meet? Technically when we were 8 years old

2. How did the two of you meet? We grew up in the same neighborhood. We were friends growing up. We lost touch as we got older but started running into each other when we were about 20/21. We went to spring break the same week and hit it off which was weird to both of us.

3. Where was your first date? Dave & Busters

4. How did you begin dating? He says I asked him out when we got home from the beach, but it was him. Also, he called me to talk as he drove home from the beach for 19 hours lol.. so he definitely reached out first. 

5. How did the proposal happen? Give us all the juicy details!

   On St. Patrick’s day! We went to his family’s house as we always do. We went outside for our annual picture and he got down! he made sure my whole family was there as well! Even my sister who lives in Texas. We love St. Patrick’s day, so it was very fitting and we had a great time celebrating.

6. What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day? Marrying each other!
