Are you guys ready for this volunteer firefighter’s wedding? Let’s dive in and let me show you all of my favorites from their Wedding Day!

Kelly and Nick tied the knot at Saint Basil’s Church here in Pittsburgh. Following the ceremony Nick pulled some strings and had a fire truck on standby outside the church. Talk about support guys! That was pretty cool!

Their ceremony there reception was held at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church and Hall. This venue was large enough to hold hundreds of guests. The venue was packed with family and friends. Some who have even traveled from out of state to witness these two tie the knot!

During the reception a family friend of Kelly’s parents surprised her with the sweetest gift ever! When Kelly was a young girl she gave the nice man a $1 bill. He promised her he would keep it and never spend it. He said he would always keep it, and as long as he had it he would never be poor.  During the reception, the nice man congratulated her and pulled out his wallet.  

Inside his wallet, he pulled out the same crinkly, old, dollar bill Kelly gave him decades ago. He reminder her when she was younger she gave him this same dollar bill and he promised he would never spend it. He has held on to that same dollar in his wallet all of these years. He surely kept his promise.

And guys, THIS is the reason I photograph Weddings. They are so very special and so many special moments happen throughout the day. Moments that deserve to be captured in photograph’s and printed into albums for you to look back at one day!
